I first came to know Mitch in 2010 when he came highly recommended by a co-worker and I decided it was time to purchase my first home. Going in I knew that Mitch was a veteran and a man of integrity. My first home buying experience was smooth, trouble free, and exactly what I was looking for, and above all, no pressure. Mitch doesn’t HAVE to sell houses, he chooses to help families find the perfect home for their life needs. I was so pleased with his performance that I gave Mitch my word that if the day ever came that I was to sell my home, he would be the first person I called, and in 2013, when I received military orders that took my family out of state, that is exactly what I did. What happened next spoke volumes to Mitch’s character and his desire to do what is best for his clients, even if that means he doesn’t make a sale. The housing market in my area was in a slump at that time and Mitch did the research to see where we would be if we sold at that time. Bottom line, if we would have sold at that point, we would have lost money and faced significant out-of-pocket expenses. Rather that trying to convince us to sell and take the loss, Mitch advised us to hold onto the property and recommended an outstanding management company to handle our rental needs. This relationship lasted (successfully) up to the point where the market had recovered and selling made sense. Once again, I called Mitch, and once again he was on the job. Not only did our house go under contract within one week of listing (Mitch hires professional photographers to take the photos that he uses for your listing), but the final sale price was several thousand dollars higher than what we were expecting!!! We no longer live in Ohio, but if we did, I can’t imagine using ANYONE other than Mitch Belka for my real estate transaction needs. Mitch is a man of outstanding character and integrity, he is down to earth, and he truly works for his clients best interests. Mitch isn’t a great real estate agent because he is trying to sell anything, he is a great agent because he works his butt off to get family’s a place to call home, no pressure. If you are in Ohio and are thinking of purchasing or selling a property, call Mitch, I promise, it will be the best decision you can make. God bless!!!
