I began working in Real Estate nearly 5 years ago, as a licensed agent with Coldwell Banker Heritage and after just 2 years, I made the move to working in property management, fulltime. I love helping people, and in property management, that’s what we do; we help people every single day. Providing the very best service to our tenants and owners, ensuring that the home is rented with a good tenant, and keeping the home in the best shape, so that it is ready for re-occupancy or sale by the owners is our mission. As a liaison between tenants and owners, I focus my efforts on relationships, customer acquisition, contract coordination, and negotiation.
Working with CBH gives our team access to resources that outshine that of our competitors. We cover a large service area, and have nearly 400 agents to help us do our jobs more efficiently. Our team was the Top Rental Listing Team in Dayton for 2016. We were 2015 Coldwell Banker Circle of Excellence-Silver Level recipients and Coldwell Banker International President’s Elite Award winners in 2016.
Before working in Real Estate, I was a teacher in the Kettering and Northmont school districts, having graduated from Fairmont High School and receiving my degree from Ohio University. I currently live in Springboro with my wife Jennifer, our 2 children Macy and Nolan, and our dog Boomer. I’m a diehard OSU fan, and in my free time I attend Fairhaven Church in Centerville and coach my children’s sports teams.
I chose to work with Coldwell Banker Heritage, because of the many opportunities the company provided for success. I have been working in property management for 27 years and every single day is different. Working with single family homes, apartment complexes, affordable housing, commercial properties, and more has allowed me to gain a very diverse skill set and the experience to provide our tenants, property owners, and agents with insight and expertise.
I love working in property management because there is truly never a dull moment. Each day presents a unique set of challenges, opportunities, and areas for growth. I enjoy the variety of responsibilities my job offers, the chance to work with our clients, and working to build relationships with our property owners.
I grew up in Fairborn and currently reside in Xenia with my husband. We have been married for 25 years and have one amazing daughter. I show Tennessee Walking Horses and enjoy spending time camping and bargain hunting at local garage sales. I am proud to be a part of the Dayton community, which is why my favorite aspect of Dayton life is attending the many festivals held every summer and fall.
Forming relationships with our tenants is my favorite aspect of my job – I love the interactions with people. Focusing on conflict management, tenant relations, and agent financing, customer service is my top priority.
Prior to working in Property Management, I spent eight years doing Base Defense Operations for the United States Airforce. After being deployed five times, I joined the team at Coldwell Banker Heritage, finding inspiration in the company vision and values. Helping people accomplish their Real Estate goals is what CBH is all about. And while our tenants are not always in the place where they can purchase a house, our team is able to make their dreams of home a reality and I’m thankful for the opportunity to help them find a space of their own.
Born and raised in Dayton, I graduated from Stebbins High School and attended community college with the USAF, receiving my associates degree in criminal justice. I lead Worship at Dayton Hope Church, and enjoy playing soccer in my spare time. Family is everything to me, and living in the Dayton area allows me to stay close to them. I’m recently engaged to a wonderful woman; we have one son and I am looking forward to the new adventures that married life will bring.
